Our Mission
The Mission Statement of Christ Church is this: “Love and Go.”
We chose “Love and Go” because, once we understand what it means, it encapsulates for us the entirety of the Gospel in three easy-to-remember words. This is how we unpack it…
“Love” is the first imperative of our Mission Statement because we believe that Love is the all-encompassing nature of God and God’s creation. Love is what God is. Love is why God created us. Love is what we are supposed to spend our lives doing. Love is Christ’s greatest, most important commandment to us. We find some of our inspiration for this first imperative in the following passages of Holy Scripture:

“Go” is the second imperative of our Mission Statement because we believe that Jesus insisted that we take the love that we have and share it wastefully with the world. We find some of our inspiration for this imperative in the following passage of Holy Scripture, known popularly as “The Great Commission”:
